Struggling with 4mo regression

My LO is 5 months and has been going through a sleep regression since just before she was 4 months. I am exhausted and I'm struggling to stay positive and remember that 'it will pass'. She's never been an excellent sleeper because she has suffered from reflux (which is now under control) She can do 7.5 hours solid sleep - it just feels like a life time ago. Last night she woke up at 11pm and then every hour from 1am until she woke for the day at 5am. I feel a bit broken and I would just like to hear some positive stories about how OP's LO's made it through and were good sleepers again. I feel like I'm doing something wrong even though I am always consistent with her routine and spend every day making sure she gets enough naps. My OH is really helpful and will help during the night to get her back to sleep but it is exhausting for both of us. Im worried she won't sleep well again and this is it until she leaves home.

Please please PLEASE can you tell me positive stories of overcoming sleep regression?

No advice but here in solidarity with you OP because we are going through it now with DD 18 weeks and it’s bloody hard work!

Everyone told me it lasts between 2-6 weeks and rarely much longer. We battled a bad flu and chest issue (which I now think was corona!) and then went into the regression, it lasted 4 weeks including the flu thing.
No advice, but it does get better I swear, he’s now back to sleeping how he was before!
But we’re at the 8 month one now so ask me again in a week 😂

@ChrisPrattsFace oh no! I hope you're LO is ok? So scary at the moment!

@Waterloosunsets I have co slept with her when she was younger and went through a really bad stage of sleep with her relfux. I honestly don't want to co sleep again because as lovely as it was, my shoulder still hurts from it and I have worked so hard to get her to nap in her next to me.

@attillathenun thanks for your solidarity! Hope you're LO is sleeping better?

@Mamabear04 yes a lot better thank you! After 3 really hard weeks we’ve had 4 good nights in a row so I’m hoping it’s nearly over! Hope things are better for you too 🙏
