15 month old early wake up and wakes upset

My 15 month old doesn’t sleep through the night and wakes up so early usually anywhere between 4;50am - 5:30am. When he wakes at this time, he wakes screaming.

He we through a phase at about 13 months when he was waking up at 7/7:30am and it was bliss! He would wake up happy. I have no idea what we were doing differently.

Any tips on how to get him to not wake up so early and how to get him back to waking up happy??

Routine is roughly

4:50 - 5:30am he wakes (usually screaming and throwing comforter out of cot) and I will bf feed in his room then put him back in the cot. He rolls around and jabbers for a bit.

6:40 - I’ll go get him and we’ll start the day

7/7;30ish - breakfast

Nap 1 is usually 5 hours after wake up but usually aroun 11/11:30am

He sleeps for about 1.5hrs, sometimes 2hrs

1:30/2pm lunch

5pm dinner

Down for the night between 6:45-7pm. He will usually wake up once or twice in the night screaming his head off so I go in and feed him. For example, last night he woke at 11:15pm screaming and throwing his comforter out of the cot and I fed him. He then babbled in his cot until 1:30am! He then woke up screaming at 5:30am so I went and fed him and he’s now babbling and blowing raspberries in his cot. I just don’t understand how he’s not tired right now.

We are trying to have awake times of about 5hrs otherwise he gets overtired but is there anything I can do to help him sleep in a bit longer in the morning and to wake up happy again? On the rare occasions he wakes up post 6:30am, he wakes up happy and he’s so much happier during the day.

His room is warm and dark, he eats well throughout the day and we have cut down breast feeding to once or twice a day (mainly at night when he wakes and first thing in the morning) otherwise he has cows milk throughout the day.

Any tips greatly appreciated.

Pain from teeth? Molars maybe? Any early wake ups we had were because of this.
You could try pain relief when he wakes for bf (give before you feed) and/or the same at the early wake up. Just to see if it helps?

Also could try the 11am nap earlier. Seems a long time from wake up?
Good luck with it all xxx
