What do you do for naps with a second child?

So for DS1 until he was 4.5 months he slept on me in the day and then next to me on our bed until 6 months when he’d nap in his cot in his room without me

So far DS2 is similar and prefers to be on me, which at 8 weeks I totally expect. But when he starts getting into more of a natural routine himself and napping more predictably, what do you do while they’re under 6 months and you’ve got another to look after?

DS1 is only 20 months so I can’t just leave him to entertain himself either

At the moment the only thing I can think of is trying to get him to nap in his sleepyhead or a travel cot downstairs?

Sling, pram, or Moses basket downstairs.

CBeebies for the older one so that you can pass out on the sofa.

I had a two year old and a baby at one point. I would put the older one in his cot for his midday nap & one the little one got to 2-3 months and older I would wrap him up & put him in his pram in the garden (it was secure). I’m not sure I ever got them to nap in the same room.
