11 month old won’t nap for mum

Hi,

We’ve always rocked our dd to sleep then put her down. This has been working well until about 2 weeks ago when she started massively fighting naps. I’m talking screaming, trying to get away and just generally melting down. I thought she was just having a regression or a leap and we’d just have to power though. But we’ve discovered this weekend she’ll go down for a nap with her dad with only a tiny bit of fuss.

Any ideas why she’s just right her naps with me?

Is she breast or bottle-fed? x

Hedgehog26 · 11/04/2020 12:47

Bottlefed since 7 months old

Does your husband use the same method to get her to sleep? Just wondering if there might be a difference... otherwise, it could be a separation anxiety thing?

Hedgehog26 · 11/04/2020 13:53

We both do exactly the same, has been working for both of us up to now. Separation anxiety was the only other thing I could think of

My 9mo DS fights his naps with me. I put it down to the fact I'm the one who is more active with him like playing, singing, dancing. I'm the more fun one basically Grin
