I think we're going through this slightly early, gone from 7-7 with one sleep feed to 8-6 with 5 wake ups. How do you get through it!!! Honestly feels worse than the newborn stages because i'm so used to her having a 12 hour sleep. Please tell me its over soon ):

Hiya, yes it is a nightmare because you get used to the sleep then they whip it away again Grin

The only thing that helped us get through really is just knowing it's a phase and not changing anything you usually do. One thing I would say is don't introduce anything that you don't want to keep up with for example rocking to sleep, because if you introduce that you'll be stuck doing it then so just be militant if you can. It is rubbish and really hard though we've just come out of the other side.

I guess the only other thing is being reassured that it's their sleep pattern changing so in essence they should be better when out the other side!

Sorry if this isn't must help all I can say is just keep going and it will end!!

I needed to hear it haha, i've been tempted to just being her into my bed because she sleeps better but i know i'll end up being stuck co sleeping then which i really don't want to do! Just going to ride it out, wish me luck. Thanks!

Going through this too. I feel your pain. When does it end? 😭

basicwitches · 08/04/2020 08:12

@agteacht last night wasn't too bad, only woke up 3 times. How about you?!

Hahah @basicwitches same!

I can cope with the nights but struggle with the lack of naps in the day. She naps for about 30 mins at any one time and has serious FOMO!!!

basicwitches · 09/04/2020 06:43

@agteacht so does my daughter, if i'm lucky i'll get three half an hour naps😤 she's just so noseyGrin

I have a feeling I'm still going through this at 5 months. I feel your pain. Hope it gets better for you soon x
