I have called the Doctor and am waiting for a call back. But wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

My one year old woke up very distressed last night. More so than I have ever known him to be. I went to him and he had a few jerks, like when you are falling to sleep and think you’re falling. After each one, he would become more distressed again. He was warm, but only around 36.6 when I took his temp (ear thermometer. This happens four or five times. I took his sleeping bag off (he felt warm despite having no temp) and he did calm down. Although he was unsettled all night but in a good mood. Just awake for several hours.

It wasn’t dissimilar to when my nephew who is epileptic has absences or cluster seizures). He did not appear to loose consciousness.

He is hitting all his developmental milestones is fine this morning.
