Sleep advice for a very light sleeper!

Hi mums! Looking to see if anyone has any advice. My dh and me have slept separately for a while, partly because I am in and out of dd bedroom, and also as a chef dh gets in very late from work, so normally winds down watching tv on sofa bed.... I am a very light sleeper, so when we've tried to reintroduce sharing a bed I basically do not sleep at all! He'll come in at 2ish, and snoring, general noise, coughing through a loud speaker, .... even ear plugs don't seem to help! I feel bad that we've got used to sleeping apart, I just want to return things to normal, we managed, somehow, before! And if it's not him waking me it's dd, who is a lot better now at sleeping well, she is 3. One or the other, I turn into some sort of emotional zombie when I don't sleep!!! Thank you in advance, my first post

I wish I could help, I've been there. Unfortunately/fortunately Ive gone deaf in one ear so sleep on the other and now I have no problems. Running around after two kids has helped too
