Help 6 month old wont go down at night

Hi, my 6 month old will still wake up every 2 hours on a night and will hardly be put down, would rather be on me. He was recently ill and I slept in bed with him which he only woke up one time all night , so I know he can last without bottles. We have a 2 year old as well so camt leave him to cry as he will wake her up. Any suggestions please!!

Hi @Charlhir what are the day naps like?

Have you had a look in case it's teething? My DD now 19 months started getting quite a few teeth through at that age.

I did the usual bedtime routine - bath , books, breastfed and a bit of baby Panadol or nurofen. I also had a noise machine set on fan mode and had black out curtains. If she woke after a few hours I just went in quickly and she had some milk and would go back - not always though!! I found out later she was cutting 4 teeth at once. The restless nights lasted about a month

She now pretty much sleeps through the night but is battling naps now!

His naps are ok in the day when his sister lets him sleep ha. Try and get him to sleep in a pram or move him off me so hes not on me in the day.

I have thought teething but he has been like this from birth. We were going to try a noise machine tonight actually.

See my daughter gets it bad when cutting teeth usually temp and wakes up all the time. She sleeps normally all night.

Will try the machine and teething things and will see tonight thank you

I assume you don't want to co-sleep? I ended up doing so with DS. I didn't want to but couldn't cope being up and down all night.
