Hello.
So be for I start I realise how lucky I am. I'll just put that there.
My 5 month old dd sleeps 7pm till 6am in her cot. I know I know!.
However she will Not nap for more then 30 mins in the day.
I've tried the wake to sleep, the pat and shush and controlled crying.
She will have 3 30 min naps a day and tends to get grizzly just befor bed.
I'm starting to accept the fact that I need to just roll with it but has any one got any advise on how I could increase her naps. She wakes normally happy and smiley....

She's sleeping through the night and doesnt seem to be overtired at the end of the day - that sounds pretty good to me! If it ain't broke don't fix it.

This is exactly what my DS did at 5 months. Slept well at night but just a few short naps in the day. By the time he was about 6.5 months old his naps gradually got longer on their own. I would just roll with it. Also just to point out, sleep training methods like controlled crying aren’t recommended until a baby is at least 6 months. 5 months is still so tiny. X
