Mine was up 4 times last night, keep reading threads about other babies “sleeping through”.
Can’t help feel I’m doing something wrong ☹️ (Tired Mamma) x

Mine went to sleep at 7.30, woke up 11.30, 1.30, 3, 4 and 5.30. DH then put him in the sling from 6 and he slept another 90 mins (as did I).

That's a bad night - on a good night we get a 5 hour block of sleep to start with and two wake ups. We have more bad nights than good though. DS is 3 months on Friday and his sleep has pretty much stayed the same now since he was about 8 weeks, so I'm not seeing this big improvement at 3 months either that everyone talks about.

DS is also between the 2nd and 9th centile. I've heard some people say sleep improves when they get to about 12 (or 16?) pounds and I don't think he's quite there yet.

It's very unusual for them to sleep through at such a young age. Both of mine we sleeping on a rough schedule of 8-midnight-2-4-6/7 - I was going to bed so early to get that first chunk!

Mine didn't sleep through for the first time until 10 months. Perfectly healthy and normal.

It's very normal and natural for babies to wake in the night, especially if they are young and / or breastfeeding. It's part of their development. Please don't worry. And have a big cup of tea from me! Brew

Mine woke at 11, 2, 5 and 8 til he was at least 16 weeks and then started dropping the night feeds. However he is 1 in 3 weeks and he has only started sleeping 8-6 this week! He was bottle fed too so it's a myth they sleep better in my opinion.

Way back - 90s early 00s - 12 weeks was the goal for sleeping through. But to qualify that, what was meant was from 7pm to 5am or 8-6 according to the HV advice we got. However, all babies are different and everything goes awry with any plan if they are ill of having a growth spurt

14 Month old DD and hasn't slept through the night yet!! It is tough but your body adjusts to it. You aren't doing anything wrong

DD didn't sleep through until 16 months old. DS was much earlier. Didn't do anything differently with either of them. All babies are different and they'll sleep through when they're ready to. Waking 4 times for a feed is still very normal at 12 weeks.

Dd is in her crib from 10pm til 7am with anything between 1 and 3 wakes on a usual night. She'll be 12 weeks on thursday

Thanks everyone!
Had a crappy night last night so I guess just looking for some reassurance as he was sleeping 8pm-1am for a while!
Maybe a growth spurt? Xqq a
