What cot/ crib did you had from birth?

Just that really. I'm pregnant with my first and trying to navigate the sleep situation from birth onward. It feels that there is not one solution fit all and the child seems to be the one deciding very much what he/ she like best. So moses/ crib/ swinging crib/ cot- what did you had/ what brand and How long for?
Thank you

I used Chicco Next 2 Me bedside crib from 0-6months, it worked very well in the nights as I didn’t have to get up for feeds.

During the day he napped on me (still does at 9 months old).

I had a shnuggle dreami (big Moses basket) and he never settled in it. I then borrowed a Tutti Bambini Cozee side sleeper and that works much better because I can easily pick him up to comfort/BF him at night and we can go to sleep with my hand on him etc. Still going strong at 3 months and think he'll fit it for a while, my DS is on the small side though.

He preferred the carrycot from the pram to the dreami in the early days, as it was smaller and cosier I think, and he still naps there sometimes when it's not on the pram. So if you're buying a pram with a carrycot/bassinet anyway I wouldn't bother with a separate Moses basket, just make sure the carrycot is safe for overnight sleeping. I've got an Oyster 3, which is.

Got a NCT Bednest for my first off ebay.
It was perfect, nice little adjustable crib strapped to bed. Used it loads.

Recently had my second and he hasn't seen the slept in it once. Straight to Co sleeping and side lying.

I had a tutti bambini cozee and it was brilliant. I will be using it again in a few weeks for my second baby. Lots of room inside and a very handy shelf at the bottom for things.

I have one DS who is almost 3. We used a Moses basket next to the bed and a sleepyhead in the bed with us. He was really difficult to put down and woke up often when you did. We also used his cot from a young age (3 months?). If I could go back, I would design the nursery for a toddler/young boy and get a travel cot. We use his cot which transforms to a toddler bed but in hindsight everything goes so quickly it kinda seems like designing for a young kid makes more sense! I'd also try one of those Co sleeping cots but we didn't have room and I didn't want to spend the money.

We bought a chicco next to me crib but I think it was too big for our LO when she was first born. She ended up sleeping in the pram cot for about 8 weeks which was much more snug and warm and then we moved her to a moses basket and then at 3.5 months we moved her into the bedside crib!
