Side sleeper cots

We have a standard crib at the moment.
My question is, people that have side sleeping cots/cribs such as the Chicco next to me, are they worth the money? Trying to decide if I can justify the extra expense in the month to buy one.
Pros and cons?

We bought the snuzpod, my son hated it to begin with because he couldn't touch the sides like he he could in his Moses basket.

Are you intending on breast feeding? I've heard that they're useful if you are. I didn't and never actually put the aide down once when my son was in it. I just used it as a 4 sided cot.

I express and bottle feed.
I was mainly looking as my almost 4 week old sticks her arms out through the crib sides and also, it would be much easier to pick her up to comfort her, just now I need to get in and out of bed to be able to comfortably pick her up and put her back down

I have a snuzpod and for me, it was worth the extra money. I can easily stick my hands in to stroke his head/tummy to settle him and lifting him out is so much easier than with my dd who I had in a Moses basket. The one I have also rocks but I’ve yet to use that yet as it’s a bit awkward to do if you use it with the side down right up against the bed.

I absolutely love the Next to Me. It's so convenient to pick up DD in the night, or just give her a stroke if she's stirring. Unlike a Moses basket, It should last her until she's ready to go into her own room.

We have a Next To Me but it's pretty pointless for us - we have both sides up because DS used to bang his head against the rail when it was down and I don't think it's even attached to our bed anymore. We probably could have gone for a cheaper option with the benefit of hindsight
