Hey my 7 month old baby is now going down for daytime naps around every 2hrs however the length of these naps are only for around 20/30min each. He sleeps all night through - I just wondered if anyone had any tips for extended the time of naps so I could get things done in the day!
Thank you

Depending how long he sleeps at night he may not need long naps. At 8 months babies supposedly need 14 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period. How long does he sleep at night? A 30 minute nap every two hours actually sounds like he's getting enough sleep.

According to little ones programme. 45 mins in morning, 2 hours in afternoon is best.

That’s a relief, he goes 10/11 hours so that’s about right! Thank you

Doesn't help you get more done unfortunately!! Wink my little one also slept around the same time at night and his day time naps were short!

20 minutes is (unfortunately) normal for a lot of babies until about 7-9 months because of the way their body clock develops. My DD was the same but now at 10 months, her naps are normally 45 minutes to an hour and 15.
