My Hummy

Would anyone recommend a my gummy bear for white noise to aid sleep? We currently use Ewan the dream sheep but he only plays for 20 minutes and I’m often turning it back on in the night whilst DS is stirring whilst the my hummy is on standby for 12 hours and will come on if needed. I was just wondering if they are worth the money as it’s quite a lot.

I'm considering getting one for my 13 month old shit sleeper so will be interesting to hear if anyone has any good stories

My 4.5 year old still uses her Ewan Sheep. She was able to turn him on herself around 15 months old and since then I often hear her on the monitor turning him on. Always just the once, so it seems to have been a good self-prompt to settle again unaided. Might be worth sticking to the Ewan, depending on your LO age. I considered one of the automatic ones when she was very little but I’m glad I didn’t as I’m pretty sure it would have woken her up fully to get that extra stimulation when she would have settled anyway.

He’s only 11 weeks so turning Ewan on himself is a while away yet, interesting that your daughter uses it to self settle though bless her!

Try Ollie owl they start again when baby is disturbed. Don’t need turning on each time

We have a my hummy for 11 month old shit sleeper DS.
I always think it doesn't help as he is a bad sleeper (4-6 wake ups each night) but the night when the batteries run out is hell on earth and we get hardly any sleep at all (10+ wake ups) so I think on balance it helps but it's no miracle.

We got it in desperation when he was 3 months and I wonder if we never got it how bad/ good his sleep could have been.

We love My Hummy here. DD (3) still uses hers every night so we bought a new one for DD (3 months) and they both use them. We feel they definitely help with sleep.

We stream white noise from our phones to a Bluetooth speaker in DDs bedroom as she wakes as soon as it stops (she's 2.5). Alternatively a cheap old iPod hooked up to a speaker would work the same.
