Is this the 4month sleep regression at 3 months? Help!

DD is 3mo and was settling into a bedtime really well. I'd put her down in her cot at 7:30pm and she would wake every 5hours or so to feed and then sleep until 7:30am which was great. The past few nights however have felt like a fucking war and I don't know what's happened! She can't fall asleep in the evening and when she does only sleeps for half an hour and then once it gets to midnight wakes every couple of hours. She's refusing the boob in the evening (she's ebf) and then only feeds a little every time she wakes up. Her daytime naps last about 30 minutes and I try not to let her stay awake for longer than 1.5hours because otherwise she gets overly tired.

I am sooo tired. Is this sleep regression or something else?

@Mamabear04 hoping you get some answers as I am in the same position... DS is 3 and a half months. I'm up for the 5th time tonight and it's not even 3am yet 😭 he was also previously sleeping through x

Yes she may be teething at 3 months.

She is an individual not a textbook.

Teething dates given are averages.

As she gets older she is likely to have nappy rash when teething. So she may be not herself including not sleeping then you notice she also has nappy rash and then see a hole in her gum or an actual tooth.

Other causes of sleep disruption include colds and after vaccinations.

I dont really buy into the regression theories. Baby sleep isnt linear, it might just be a phase. It's hard tho, you have my complete sympathies.

Yeah, the sleep regression can hit at any age really, but it is an actual thing where their sleep changes. It is actually progress towards adult sleep patterns but doesn't feel like it! Mine hit this at about 8 weeks. Good news is that she'd settled down again by the time everyone else in the NCT group was moaning about the regression at four months!
