Help with crib - cot transition

My LO is nearly 7 months old & has outgrown his next to me crib. He used to sleep 7-10 feed then 11-5.30/6 which was great but the last month has been waking almost every hour & ive ended up moving him into my bed as I'm frustrated & tired. The last week he's been in bed with me as he's been poorly and wakes as soon as I move him into his bed 😩 Tonight I'm going to try him in his own room and cot. Does anyone have any tips or methods I could use to get him back to sleep when he wakes up in the night as I really don't want to end up co sleeping TIA x

Hey
I'm in a similar situation co sleeping with my 9mo but looking to transition to cot. How are you feeding your baby? Do you have someone else who could settle him in the night when he wakes with a rock/pat/shush etc? To break the feed to sleep cycle x
