7 month old moved to cot from moses basket and won’t sleep!

I recently moved my 7 month old daughter from her moses basket to her cot, she had been in her moses basket in her cot. Since putting her in the cot she hasn’t slept more than 20 minutes for her then wakes crying and won’t go back to sleep but is still tired. She previously slept for 2 hour naps twice a day. I understand that it’s a transition and a much bigger space than she is used to but I’ve rolled up blankets under the sheet around her so she feels snug like in the moses basket and even put a tshirt that smelt of me tucked around the sheet but hasn’t made a difference. Does anyone have any other tips or idea of how long this will last? Hmm xx

Would the modes basket for inside the basket as a transition between the two?

Sorry, autocorrect. Moses basket to fit inside the cot.

Not helpful but impressed she still fits

Yeah she was a small baby haha. I wish I had just put her in the cot when she was younger.

Mine was the same. The only things that helped were putting a wheaty bag toy at her side, like next to her hip, and time. We just kept it being consistent every night and a week saw some improvement, 2 weeks and she was sleeping as well as she had in her crib

I put the Moses basket in the cot. Then slowly, removed Moses basket for daytime naps and then for sleep at night. Took about two weeks. Take solace in the fact that this too shall pass, even though it feels horrible right now.

Yeah it’s strange because she has been sleeping at night fine in the cot but for some reason it’s the naps that are problematic Hmm Im hoping after another week she will start sleeping for longer like she did in the Moses basket.

I’m thankful she is sleeping at night but it’s mentally exhausting having to keep getting her up and putting her down throughout the day. She has only slept this last week for about 50 minutes a day which just isn’t enough.
