Hi everyone, my LO is 4 months and 1 week old, and for the last week has been waking every hour after midnight. I rock or pat him back to sleep and then he starts again an hour later just as I am about to doze off. By 5am he is frantic and nothing will stop his crying so I end up bringing him downstairs and just starting our day. He is fed through a tube continuously from 6am until approx 2am (20 hours) and obviously his calories and things are all worked out so I don't think it can be hunger. He doesn't have any development issues. I am doing his nappy at around 9pm and then again at his first wake up. Is this the 4 month regression and if so how long will it likely last? I am planning to sleep train him starting at around 5.5 months (tried with DD at his current ageand it was a disaster so thinking I will wait with him unless anyone has success stories about sleep training at his age?). His daytime naps are an absolute mess because of having to look after DD. We do have a bedtime routine and use blackout blinds, white noise, sleeping bag etc but as soon as he has his bath he basically starts to scream and this will last for an hour until he eventually falls asleep and I put him down around 6.30pm. He will then sleep OK until around midnight (will wake once or twice but is easier to settle), and then after midnight the hourly wakes will begin. What advice does everyone have about how to get through this? TIA xxx
