2 year sleep regression! Does it end?!

DD is 22 months and i think she's hit the 2 year sleep regression! She will just lie awake in the night for no reason, not crying, not asking for anything, just awake. But won't let me leave the room. She refuses her naps or only has 20 mins and she just never seems tired. Just wondering in people's experiences how long it lasts? Or does it ever end? I'm praying that's what it is haha!

I remember this. Maybe it’s just time to drop the nap. Sleep was 100% better once DD1 dropped her nap.

@Selfsettling3 i thought about that but sometimes she's unbearable at bedtime if she hasn't napped and then is overtired so difficult to get to sleep

You need to bring bedtime forward for the same amount of time she naps for plus 30mins as she will still need the same amount of sleep but just all in one go. It’s takes a couple of weeks to transition fully and sometimes they may need a nap every 3rd day.
