Anyone else's lo fight them to go to sleep? Ds is 7 week old and I have to wrestle him to go to sleep, he cries, stiffens, pushes himself away from me before he nods off!! Then he tricks me and 10 minutes later when I think he's fast on kicks off again Confused

I feel your pain! My little girl did this for weeks. There was one day where in 24 hours she must’ve slept a maximum of 4-5 hours and that was all broken sleep. I was in bits! She would never nap in the day and as soon as you put her down she’d wake up within a minute.

However, she’s now 10 weeks old and has just started “sleeping like a baby”! She sleeps through most of the night and sleeps a lot in the day! You just have to keep going, I don’t think there is anything you’re doing wrong, at least if there was some magical technique I wish I’d known about it at the time! Had never been so sleep deprived and stressed in all my life

Currently sat here 'wrestling' him back to sleep 😂 my first was the same so thought surely I'll have a good nap per/sleeper this time 😂 they are the same child 4 years apart 😳

My first was terrible so I thought my second couldn't possibly be worse. I was wrong 🤦‍♀️ he's only 5 weeks though so there's time for him to turn it around 😂
