7 month old not himself

Did anyone have this? My just turned 7 month old can usually nap for 1.5/2hr at one go, recently he’s been napping 30min at one go?! Also during the night it’s relatively easy to put him back to sleep - i breastfeed. however whenever I still do this and try put him back down in his cot he cries, then when I pick him up and pat him he straight away falls back to sleep, then when I put him down he’s awake and cries etc etc, this week it’s happened, and takes about 2 or 3hrs for me to repeat till he finally sleeps

My 9 month son goes through phases of this. He's generally a good sleeper (7:30-6) but he'll have the odd week where I'm up with him every couple of hours and he wakes up when I put him back to bed. I've put it down to a combination of teething and growth spurts.
