My daughter is 2 and a half years old and has never slept through the night not even for one night. From 12 months old she point blank refused naps in the day no matter how hard we tried. She is in her own room in her own toddler bed. We are literally at our whits end. She sleeps for about 2 hours in dribs and drabs through the night the rest of the time she is in hysterics and kicking and screaming and hits herself. We have asked the health visitor numerous times and they arent much help! We have tried so much. Keeping bedtime consistent, no tv time, relaxing bath etc., no distractions in her room. We just give her a bottle of milk to go to bed with and a nice story. She doesnt get milk through the night she literally has no reason as far as im aware to stay awake! Any suggestions would be really appreciated we are absolutely exhausted. Has anyone else been through something similar?

The poor little love must be totally exhausted. Never mind the two of you!
No advice but lots of empathy!
My little boy is 2 and although he sleeps, he wakes up so early these days!
I would absolutely consider asking a sleep consultant for some help.
Sleep habits are established from a young age I think and hopefully it'll help you crack it!

The health visitor has said the sleep clinic at our local hospital is literally a last resort. But im not sure what else we can do. We are running out of options that we haven't tried. I just wish i new why she doesn't sleep so we could help her

There are lots of companies, but my sister had a really good experience with one company I think they were called calm and bright (they have pages on social media!)
I think it can be quite pricey, but definitely worth it!
