Too hot or too cold??

My LO is just over 3 months old and has developed a nasty mucus cough..our heating has been broken since Christmas Eve and our apartment is FREEZING! A few mornings I have gone to pick baby up from her crib and her hands and face were so so cold.. I got really worried and now dress her in a long sleeved onesie, footie pjs, a jumper & her sleep sack and we have a little space heater on all night in the bedroom as well to keep everyone warm.. I don't know if this is dressing her up too much and making her too hot?? I read that being too hot is high risk for SIDS?? I'm just really worried about her cough getting worse.. it's so bad she will wake herself up with it... anyone have a similar experience???

I'd turn the heater off with a cough, too drying.

Get a humidifier for the room, it’ll help with the cough. Babies hands and face do feel cold, you need to check their chest for how warm they are.

If you’ve got a heater she doesn’t need to sleep in that many layers. A long sleeve vest, onesie and sleep sack will be fine. The room should be around 16-20 degrees.

Ok thank you!! I had a feeling I might have been exaggerating a bit Confused i'll keep the heater on until she goes to sleep and then turn it off..!
