5mo waking up screaming every half hour!

My little boy has just started going all night without a bottle which is amazing after nearly 6 months of no sleep 😂 but... he has started the past 3 nights screaming crying in his sleep every half hour or so, he's not awake but seems to be in pain, he's arching his back. He settles back with a dummy but same thing happens again soon after. Has anyone experienced this?

Can I ask whether he is having dairy? My ds was exactly the same after having yoghurt, would wake in his sleep in agony. I gave him lactofree yoghurts after that and he had grown out of the sensitivity by the time he was 2

Is he teething?

@123bananas yeh he's showing all the signs of teething - is this what happens before a tooth comes through?

Have you tried paracetamol?

Teething gel?

Have you tried feeding him to see if that settles him?
