Bedwetting alarm reset?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, please redirect me if so. We're on the second night with a Rodgers alarm for my DD (just turned 5) who was dry for a week or so when 4.5. Anybody know how to reset it after a first night time wee sets it off? Last night on first use she had a tiny dribble when going downstairs to say goodnight to her dad before she got into bed, and it went off. Very sensitive. Made sure she pressed the button to turn the red light back to green. But due to that first dampness it went off every couple of minutes for the next hour. She eventually turned it off, which is not the point. Am I missing something? Should I be doing something to the pants or alarm after a wee? Or should I be changing into spare sets of Rodgers pants? I even called the company today but couldn't get through. My tips welcome.

Your dd seems very young to be using an alarm already. Ds1 was prescribed one at 10 years old and we got one for ds3 when he was 8 yrs. ours was a different type but if the pants were wet and alarm went off then ds would have to get up, take off alarm reset it then take off pants, put on clean ones, and put alarm back on. It was a real faff but ensured he was fully awake not just resetting in his sleep.

We found the charity ERIC and their website really useful.
