Which sleep issue to work on first?

So.... DS is 7 months old and we have a few “issues” with sleep going on simultaneously and I’m really not sure how to prioritise working on them.

3 months ago he was like clockwork. Stay downstairs with us all evening sleeping then go to bed in crib in our room, wake between 3 & 4 am for a feed then back to sleep in crib.

Since then we’ve had several weeks of poorliness - nothing serious, just a load of coughs and colds - and have moved house.

Now he is staying downstairs with us in the evening but is restless and fussy. He’s in our room still but he has his own room available now. He’s in a travel cot which he’ll settle in for a couple of hours but then he ends up in our bed.

So.... in the long term what I’d like is:
Him in his own room, in his cot, not cosleeping.

I fully expect him to wake for feeding. I’m not keen on CIO. We have DD4 who is in the bedroom between our room and DSs room, who I am keen not to disturb.

Do I just go straight to being in own cot in own room? Or is that too harsh a change?

Or get him somehow to stay in travel cot all night and then his own room once that’s cracked?

Or maybe I can sleep on his floor while he gets used to the cot in new room?

I’m so tired and just can’t think properly about what to do first!

Thanks 😊
