My DD is now 4 months and still wakes every 3/4 hours for a feed. Just wondered if this is normal or should she be going longer now?

Some go longer and some don't. Some people say that formula fed babies sleep better, but anecdotally i've found that's not always true! Sorry!

There is no 'normal' with this sort of thing, sorry op. They're all so different.

DS was waking every 90 mins for BF at that age so it seems normal to me! Smile

Sounds the same as mine was at that age. She's now almost 3 and still wakes a couple of times at night (this is why she's still an only child) Smile

Mine is 4.5 months old and combination fed. I would love her to wake up only every 3/4 hours. We give her formula before bedtime, and she will do her longest stretch for about 3.5 hours. Then we give her another bottle of formula when we go to bed around 11pm as that's when she usually wakes up for the first time. She will go back to sleep but from then on it's wakey wakey every 2 hours on the dot. I breastfeed for the rest of the night. I don't think the type of feeding makes any difference because we've tried to do different combinations and she still follows the same pattern since the 4month sleep regression hit us about 3 weeks ago :-(

Sounds pretty normal to me. My DD at that age would wake up at 11, 3 and 6

Yep, mine was up 4 times a night at that age. Sleep was an extremely loooooooong campaign for us! She sleeps beautifully now she’s 3 though.....

Sounds normal and actually pretty good, though all babies vary so much.

Dd slept through from 12 weeks.

Ds is 7 months now and wKes every 45 minutes .... more for comfort than hunger.
