DD has always been a good sleeper-10+ hours at night from about 12 weeks. However in the last 5 weeks or so her sleep seems to have deteriorated at bit. She’s now 7.5 months old. Before 6 months she had all naps with us and we went to bed with her around 9. Since 6 months we’ve been putting her down upstairs and using a monitor. We get almost hourly wake ups until we go up. Is this normal?
She is also now only ( and I do appreciate that this is good on a lot of levels, but different for her) sleeping for 8 and wanting a feed.
Was wondering if anyone else had experienced this or had tips to help her settle?
Thanks in advance and happy new year!

Yes, we have the same! Although my DS ( who is now 11m) has never slept for more than 3 hours at a time throughout the night. He wakes up every 45 minutes or so until I get into bed with him. I read recently that babies have two 45 minute sleep cycles before they get into their 3 hourly night time cycles so I guess he cannot yet join those cycles together.
No advice I’m afraid as it’s been going on here for 6 months but I feel your pain!

I think you have to go with whatever babies throw at you personally. I have 3, and they've all been different sleepers all their lives. It's annoying and exhausting but there's not much you can do about it really, I've found
