Dd has never been a great sleeper.
She will not go down for dh at all which is going to make life very difficult when I return to work and he takes on more of the childcare. She feeds to sleep with me, and will sleep in a pram at nursery well (although this was tricky to start). Has anyone any advice?! Currently I have to do all resettles at night and all naps. We have tried and she just will not sleep for dh, even if her eyes are closing and she's almost there. If I'm out she waits until I get homeConfused

How old is she? I think it’s a case of just pushing through. If she knows that if she resists long enough, you’ll come in, then she’ll keep resisting. We used to have this with my daughter - she would scream if my husband tried to put her down so I always ended up coming in. In the end he told me whatever happened, to leave him to it and I did even though it was horrible to hear her cry. She eventually went to sleep and now (at 9 months) will go down for him just as well as me, if not more quickly and has done for some time now x

How much time do they spend together? Can he try some weekend naps with the sling/carrier to build their bond?
