So my lb 14 months old is still waking for bottles at night, honestly it doesn't bother me much getting up and giving them to him but I am certain it's affecting his appetite during the day and it just feels like we need to at least cut back / stop. He was down at 7 after usual routine of bath , bottle , story and cuddles then into cot while still awake and he settles fine. But come 11pm he's awake for bottle, I've offered water which he drank some
Of out of a cup but every time
I settle him he starts to cry again 5 minutes later! It's making me feel terrible! Anyone been in this position and care to share what worked for them?

My neighbour started doing water bottles only through the night.

No matter if baby cries or not.

Settle with cuddles or whatever but without milk.

Neighbour said theirs all cried for a few days but got the message that there is no point in crying you will only get water til morning. And they then slept through.
