Different Worries About Moving 6 Month to Own Room

Hi guys. Long time poster!
I've got a beautiful 6 month old boy who's been through a lot with colic and reflux but has always been rather good at sleeping!
I've heard sometimes moving babies to their own rooms can 'improve' sleep, but how much is the likelihood it will change his sleep pattern? I know he will probably be abit up and down first few nights when I put him in there but the only thing that's kept me and my partner sane is how well he's slept.
He's also still using the sleepyhead for night time sleep however can nap in his crib without it as we have never introduced it there!

Any advice or just general thoughts would be appreciate.

Following as I'm in a similar position! We need to move 6mo and break the sleepyhead habit but I'm anxious about was she either wakes once or sleeps through with me. I tried one night with her in her room and she was fine actually but I slept terribly as I was anxious about not hearing if anything's wrong (we have some bad sleep habits like sleepyhead and comforter).

We do say naps in her nursery so she's used to the room - have you done that consistently? Could be a good way to start

Hi @Delilah7 and @RMarieClaire I remember you both from the pregnancy boards. We moved DS (same age as yours) to his own room 3 weeks ago. Cot, no sleepyhead, went cold turkey on everything including night feeds which he wasn’t needing. He was sleeping between us! After tricky few days he is now a 7-7 sleeper. Best thing we did! Naps well in his cot too. Glued to the monitor of course but he’s much happier in there.

@RMarieClaire @HayleyHaystack hi lovely ladies. I remember you! Glad all is well.
Soooo, we have been doing one nap in there in the daytime and he did another this morning in there. Without the sleepyhead as usual! I'm just scared as he sleeps so well in the next to me crib ( even without the side down! ) @HayleyHaystack did your baby sleep in there for naps or did you just go for it at night time? X
