Sleep deprivation symptoms or PND?

Had an absolutely meltdown this morning. Not a very teary person but cried to my DP. My DD is almost 8 weeks and I’ve had 5 nights of about 3 hours broken sleep. Last night I was sicked on three times (all over the bed too) and had just had enough.
I love my DD beyond belief but I am finding the nights so hard it is making me feel very low.
In the daytime I generally feel ok and can manage to do things.
Just wondering whether this is just a ‘symptom’ of sleep deprivation or could be the beginning of PND?

That sounds so difficult. I wouldn't want to rule out PND - so May be worth seeing a GP anyway - but I do know sleep deprivation can do horrible things to a person. I wouldn't be surprised if existing on 3 hours of broken sleep was making you feel this way... Could your partner help out a bit over the weekend to help you catch up on sleep? That might help you to understand if it's the sleep deprivation causing these feelings. Also, just thinking more about what might help the situation, what's happened in the last 5 days to make your DDs sleep worse?
