6 month old waking hourly

It can't get any worse than this surely?!

She goes to bed around 7pm and then is up every hour. Sometimes I nurse her to sleep, other times my husband bounces her to sleep.

Then around 4/5am she goes into a light sleep or is awake for the day 😩

I am literally at my wits end!

I have no idea what is causing these wakings.. Any ideas?

If you find the answer let me know! Exactly the same here although only 4.5 months. My first baby was the same too... it did get better but not until he was about 1 🤦🏼‍♀️

My DD has been like this since around 4.5 months! Exactly like yours, my first was the same and didn't start sleeping through til age 1! We sound like the same person 😂

Urgh mine had that phase at 3 months. Brutal. We got through it by CO-sleeping until he was old enough to do controlled crying at 4.5 months, which kicked it by the second night

Mine's been at the hourly waking the last few weeks but it's definitely teeth in his case, the tiny fang came through on Sunday and he went back to his normal three four hour blocks on Sunday night.

Is there a tooth on the way by any chance?

It sounds like she might be waking at the end of every sleep cycle. She then doesn't have the skills to self settle - as she's used to being nursed or bounced back to sleep - so can't get back to sleep by herself, and needs your input every time.

If you're ready to, I'd be looking up some info on sleep training and seeing if anything appeals.

@Littleguggi I'm tempted to do some sleep training but I may wait until she is on solids so I know she is full up. Last night literally broke me so I can't carry on much longer!
