4 month old and napping

I’m struggling to get my 4 month old to nap in her own crib during the day. The only way she seems to nap for long periods of time is in my arms. It means I can’t get anything done and feel guilty my house is a mess! When I do put her in her crib, she wakes up instantly and sometimes only after 20 minutes...
Any advise would be grateful 😊

Don't feel guilty for having a mess, a baby is hard work especially when they won't sleep! Are you putting her in the crib while she is still awake? One thing I found is that if they are waking up after 20 minutes has something changed since she went to sleep such as a white noise machine turning off or a light being turned off. Babies have a 20 minute sleep cye so wake up every 20ish minutes so it's important to try and replicate the same sleep environment so as when she does wake up she can quickly settle herself back down. Good luck!
