Baby won't sleep on back any more!

Hi all my 4 month old has recently started rolling from back to front and just won't settle to sleep on her back any more! She was waking up 10-15 minutes after being put down on her back absolutely hysterical and would only resettle on her side. Then last night I put her in on her back and she immediately flipped to her tummy without waking up! Her head control has always been good and we have a movement monitor and alarm which provides some reassurance but still obviously worried about SIDS risk. Should I keep trying to roll her back once she is deeply asleep? Any advice or tips appreciated!

Hi.
You can give it a go.

If she flips herself back - then I guess using the monitors etc is the only thing you can do.

If she can get herself there then I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure she has a clear cot, etc. Just keep putting her down on her back but I'd leave her if she turns herself over.

Thanks both. Yes she has a clear cot, correct temperature etc.
