19 days after period very bloated and period type cramps

Hi a little bit of advice please. I started my period on the 17th Nov which lasted 5days I have had sex several times since then with the last times been day 14 and 15 but on day 18 I am suddenly really bloated and have slight pain I am not due to start my period for another 11 days. Please can any1 help

Hi @Chatterton00,
Did you use contraception, or are you actively trying to conceive?
I think some people get an "implantation ache" so it's possible that it could be this.
If not, you could be ovulating which can also cause aches (I get them, they go after a day or two).

Alternatively, it could be nothing to do with your reproductive system & instead a digestion thing; any wind or change in bowel habit?

Whatever, please don't worry for now, a bit of "watchful waiting" might be the way forward. 💐

Also maybe get this post moved by Mumsnet to General Health as its come up in Sleep.

Hi thanks for replying and no I dont use anything Iwould not say I am trying but I am not preventing it either..And this is a little weird for me as I am pretty in tune with my body but just seems to have baffled me this 1.

Hmm...
Have you eaten anything today? Did it change how you feel? I hope you're keeping properly hydrated, whatever the cause of your discomfort.
If you still feel strange in a day or few perhaps you could get some advice; GP if you're likely to get an appointment, NHS direct or even a pharmacist if it's clearly a gut thing?
No matter the cause, look after yourself!
