Sleep Regression or Separation Anxiety?!

Ok so we have a 9 month old and we have been extremely lucky with her. From day 1 she's been an amazing sleeper, obviously we had the newborn night feeds but she quickly slept through the night and if she did ever wake up she would very quickly get back to sleep.

Then we got 9 months!! I feel like I always knew it was going to happen but I don't know what to do. So she's ok in the day she generally has 2 naps (in her cot) but for the last week or so she goes down in the evening fine and then half an hour later she's screaming! This happens throughout the night and as soon as I pick her up she falls back to sleep in my arms and the minute I put her back in her cot she does the same thing until she completely knackers herself out.

I have tried leaving her but she's getting hysterical. Do we think this is a sleep regression or potentially separation anxiety? If anyone one has any advice or tips I'd really appreciate it!

Thank you for reading x
