Hi everyone ,
My little boy was born a week early but extremely small , because of this I was in hospital 2 weeks after and they had us waking up every 2 hours for feed time. I'm sure this was the starting to a little nightmare of a sleeper, but by 4 months old we had him down until only once a night otherwise he would sleep from 9pm-7am which was amazing. He has just turned 7 months old and the last 3 weeks he has been waking 2-3 times a night. Love some suggestions on how everyone else got around this , he refuses to self settle ( we have tried numerous times , sometimes for 2-3 hours) and requires breastfeeding to calm himself down. The longest he sleeps is 4am-9am and has one huge nap during the day. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

When you say huge nap during the day, how huge?

kaelaAmumma2b · 23/11/2019 18:01

@thinkingcapon
Maybe 2 hours to 3 hours however he only has one nap.
He's a real little goer from 9 am - 2 pm he really goes for it.

Sounds normal?!

Spanneroo · 23/11/2019 20:36

I agree this sounds normal to me.

@thinkingcapon , yes. 2 sometimes 3 times a day. And if it is the norm , then that's ok. I just wanted to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong.
