Strange noises

Hi, does anyone else’s baby make really weird noises when they sleep? It sounds like i have a zoo in my bedroom 😳. He only does it when sleeping of a night time in our room. He is pretty quiet during the day downstairs. It’s really hard to sleep through it!

Is he very little? It’s amazing how much noise newborns make, they are like snuffly little animals. If that’s the case, congratulations OP - and yes it’s normal!

I absolutely love all the noises newborns make. I miss that!

My daughter sounded like a penguin for the first couple of months - almost constant grunting, straining and squeaking. I wish I could say I found it cute but it drove me nuts! She grew out of it eventually.

Ahh thank you all! He is 3 weeks old, sounds like a goat, then monkey, grunts, then More animals! Add this to his startle reflex and he looks crazy. He Does the same sounds in the same order every night but i had started to worry something was wrong with him. Thank you for letting me know it’s the norm. How odd!

My baby girl sounds like a dirty old man sometimes 😂
