DS is 10 weeks now and at around 7-8 weeks started sleeping for around 4-5 hours a night. Finally thought I was getting somewhere. But has gone back to waking up every two hours or hourly. Sometimes I will get three hours but this is rare. I know he’s not hungry but I feed him anyway to send him of. I feel like he is waking in pain from wind. When I burp him after a feed (breastfed). He will bring up one if I’m lucky but nothing more. I try all the positions he seems to get bad bottom wind. I’ve tried everything to get it out and sometimes it works but sometimes I can spend an hour running his tummy cycling legs bath and pulling his legs up with no luck. Which makes me wonder if it is wind. I try and feed him he will fuss with his legs like he in pain. I don’t know what to do anymore. He likes sleeping upright and I have started to just let him sleep in bed with me perched up cuz he won’t sleep on back. I used to put him in his beeastfeeding pillow but even that has lost its touch. I seriously need some sleep. He hardly sleeps in day either just cat naps. Unless he’s in a car he can sleep for longer I’ve tried infacol gripe water and senti oz nothing seems to help that much. He will settle then I put him down he wakes up. Settle him again and just repeats. I don’t know what to do anymore. I just need some proper sleep. As my partner does not help at all and has been absolutely useless as a parent

Oh and it’s not just that he wakes up so often but is up for at least an hour or two before he will go back to sleep. And even then he is fussing in his sleep.

It's normal for babies to wake frequently. My 1 year old wakes up every 30-60 mins to besastfeed.
Does he like sleeping on you as in chest to chest?
As far as wind etc I remember my lo being the same, always being sick too due to prematurity but it did pass!

It’s normal for babies to wake frequently but it sounds like he may have reflux. My little one had it, the only thing that helped was medication and she put grew it by 4 months. Have you tried a slim for daytime naps?

He has had reflux and it’s seriosuly not that. It was a completely different cry and actions That has defiantly past
