Hello. Please feel free to comment on what helped you / anything I can read / anything you think might be worth a bash because quite frankly I’ve reached a point where I’ll try anything! I’ll try and be succinct, but the main problem is simply that she just won’t sleep!

She’s never been a good sleeper. Always required feeding or rocking to sleep. She’ll sometimes sleep in the pram but wakes as soon as you stop walking. She is happy to sleep in a sling but wakes if you try and take her out. It takes quite a while to rock her to sleep, and she doesn’t nap well either.

The main problem is that she still wakes every single hour all night long. On bad nights she wakes even more frequently. When awake, she requires feeding or rocking back to sleep. She cosleeps, but only because it’s really hard to put her down as she wakes the second her head hits the cot.

She’s exclusively breastfed. She won’t take a bottle or a dummy. She’s also got a known dairy allergy so I’ve cut dairy out of hers and my diets.

Things I’ve tried so far: hot water bottle / my clothes in her cot. Swaddling. Cosleeping. Putting her cot mattress at an angle. Grobags, blankets, various temperatures etc. We’ve tried controlled crying, but she was hysterical for hours and hours and it didn’t get better so we gave up. I’ve tried climbing into her cot with her. I’ve tried pick up put down but she woke up every single time I tried to put her down for four hours so I gave up.

Please help this mama get some sleep!
