I'm a new poster here (first time) but I'm desperate for some advice.
My LB was 2 in September. He has never been a good sleeper sometimes up 8-10 times through the night but he now sleeps through the night maybe just waking for a drink of water and back to sleep and it's great. Getting him to sleep is the problem...he used to go to bed no problem and fall asleep himself but over the last few weeks he's been going to bed at 7 same as always, no chances to routine etc, but he's still awake at 9pm sometimes. He plays with toys, gets up and down, in bed out of bed, anything to keep himself awake. Does anyone know any reason why he'd be doing this? Regression? I've tried days without naps, going to bed earlier, going to bed later and nothing seems to make a difference. I should also mention we are about to begin the process to see if he could be autistic but that's another thread.
Any advice?
