8 week old late nap

Hello

My baby is 8 week old now (9 week old next Sunday). He naps quite well during the day although not long ones and sometimes on sling or bouncy chair as he won’t like being in the cot. His ‘last nap’ is sometimes quite early as 4, 5 or 6 if we are lucky but then it turns into first phase of night sleep rather than a nap (4-5 hours). I would like to push the bed time to tach him between day and night but seems imposible unless l wake him up. I have been advised to let him sleep. After this long stretch then he sleeps three hours until next feed. Does anyone have this? A late nap that is actually nighttime? Thanks!

He’s still really young I would wait a few months before you worry too much about a routine.

Still in 4th trimester, it's not even a late nap it's just a spell of sleep.

I was still at 2 hours max all night for a lot longer than 8 weeks, you're doing very well

I'm not one to comment but I really thing guide lines on SIDA should be followed and your baby shouldn't be allowed to sleep in the bouncy chair; they need to be flat on their backs as they're so young. I know this is hard. My boy didn't sleep properly till he was 10months and when he did only in the sling.
