Does my 12 week old sleep too much?

My very nearly 12 week old boy will sleep in and off from 8-10:30 of a night. Then have his last feed and go down until 7-8ish. Although today he's still asleep now at 08:40!
He has one long nap each day about 2-3 hours which could be morning or after noon and little short cat naps in between.
He's really happy when he's awake I just don't know whether to embrace the sleep or be worried about it!
Would love some advice 😊

If he's gaining weight well and has good nappy output I would just enjoy it while it lasts!

My DS2 is now 6 months and developed a reluctance to sleep in the last few weeks having been quite good prior to that. Everything is a phase with babies!

Fingers crossed it lasts!

Do not go to baby weigh ins every week is my advice! My first DD was like yours and I was devastated when the nurse/health visitor told me that I wasn't feeding her enough, and then I overheard her with the next mum who'd obv heard me saying mine slept through, telling her that mine was 'very unusual'. I felt like a freak and like I was doing it all wrong. Utter rubbish! All babies are different, trust your instincts and you'll know if they're unhappy or ill. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Sounds great! Enjoy it. My youngest at that age slept from 7pm-7am with a dream feed at 11pm. He’d have 3 naps in the day too. My eldest was definitely not sleeping that much at the same age!

My baby used to do this and sleep in till 10am it was amazing it all went to shit when he started teething though but he’s doing well at the moment and never gets up for the day before 8am and he’s 5 months. Just enjoy it it’s fine x

DD was a really good sleeper shed wake up at 8 get changed and have a fed and then go back to sleep till 11am some days then have another nap in the pm. She became a very long baby so must have grown during her sleep. By 3 months old she was noticeably longer than babies that were several months older and at 10 now has to wear age 13 so has stayed very tall.
