My baby was 5 weeks old yesterday... last night she slept from around 9pm until 5 this morning when she woke up for a feed, I managed to get her down again at 5:40 but she still asleep now, normally she is awake for most of the day with one long nap lasting about 4 hours during the day.. is she sleeping so long today to catch up on sleep?

May be a growth spurt, DS was always sleepier around those times. As long as she is gaining weight ok, enjoy a hot cuppa!

DS was like this. He's always loved his bed! However he wasn't gaining weight fast enough so I was the only parent in my NCT class panicking about getting too much sleep! In the end i was actually told to wake him once in the night for a feed as he just wasn't gaining. He's 9 now and still sleeps like the dead!
