Not sure for an 8mo th old. I have a 6 month old. I do
Wakes up 6/630am
Bottle 7am and breakfast
Nap 9/830
Bottle 11am
Lunch 12pm
Nap 1
Bottle 3
Short nap 3/3:30
Dinner 4:30

This works for me and her but don't get me wrong there are some days the routine goes to pot. It's just about trying new things and see what works for your baby!

Hope this helps

I didn't follow the whole book as some of it is quite mad but the below schedule is from Gina Ford and worked well with my first born. I'm due any day now with number 2 and no idea how it'll work with two kids!

At 8 months my DD was:
7am get up and 7oz bottle
8am breakfast
9.30 hour nap
11am 7oz bottle
12.30 lunch
2.30 hour nap
3.30 7oz bottle
5.30 dinner
7.30 bed

At about this time or just after I was told by the health visitor to start dropping the day time bottles so over time I reduced them by a few oz and replaced it with a snack.
