HELP! Bed time changed

My little boy has started waking 3-4 hours after being put down to bed usually at about 9/10pm and then won’t resettle unless he gets in bed with me. It started about 2/3 weeks ago, he’s currently 18 weeks old. We haven’t changed anything of our bedtime routine; but we have noticed he’s started to rub his eyes more - he does it during the day when tired and we can see him doing it just before he wakes up on the monitor. Once we get him resettled and put him back down he realises and starts the eye rubbing again. Has anyone been through this? he currently sleeps in our bed as we can’t get him back in his cot after he wakes. The other night I went to bed at 10 when he woke up, fell asleep until 12 then put him in his cot then and he slept until 2 then he ended up back in with us. I was thinking about getting one of those swaddles/ sleep bags where they can sleep with there arms up but I read you should stop using those at around 6 month? Any advice or anyone who’s been through this and now has a baby who sleeps in there own cot, I’m just worried that he’s going to end up in our bed for a long time.
