Sleeping bag and blanket?

My 1 year old sleeps with a sleeping bag (2.5 tog) he's been wakening up through the night and I'm wondering if he's cold. Would it be ok to put his duvet (mamas and papas one so it's not hugely thick) as well as his sleeping bag? Or is this too much

Maybe just try a long sleeved vest under his sleepsuits?

Could he be hungry? Does he have a little porridge or something before bed?

Most people have more than a 2.5 tog duvet on at this time of year. I think you are right to reckon he is cold.

If he is waking due to the cold may be better off looking at. 3tog sack over a long sleeve vest and long sleep trousers / pyjamas top. He may kick off the extra blanket and then still be cold
