Bedtime issue.

I need some advice on my non existent bedtime routine DS1 is 3, DS2 is 1. They have both co-slept since birth and ridiculously they still both co-sleep with me now.
The boys both get in bed with me at around 7:30-8pm every evening and we mostly watch a movie or a short programme to get them settled. Sometimes it works other times they run around my room like lunatics avoiding sleep all together.u

I’m going down the route of getting them to sleep in their room together. Currently DS1 has a double bed but obviously doesn’t sleep in it. DS2 has a cot but again he will not stay in there, he will scream blue murder for hours on end until I give in and pick him up.

Now the issue is I would love them to sleep together because they have always been in the same bed, I’d like to keep that familiarity.
Although DS2 still wakes in the night and takes a long time to actually fall asleep, he sits up and just drops his head back down wherever, usually on my nose!! angry So in other words I cannot imagine then actually having a comfortable night in a double bed together.

Should I get rid of the double and get a bunk bed (which has a guard against the sides) have DS1 at the top and DS2 at the bottom. That way they can’t bother eachother but still have the comfort of not being alone.
Or do I keep the double for DS1 and put DS2 in the cot in the same room, even though he refuses to sleep in there. I feel so confused but I’m at the brink, I need my own bed back!
