Toddler refuses blanket

Does anyone have any recommendations for my DS2 who won't sleep under his duvet? We have moved him to a bed and he always kicks his duvet off. He needs something warm for bed but not a sleeping bag because he will need to be able to walk/move around properly in case he gets up in the night.
Thank you!

Depending on how old he is, JoJo Maman Bebe do a sleep smuggler (2.5 tog all in one thing). It goes up to size 2-3. We bought our daughter a fleecy all in 1 from next and put socks on her. Rubbish for weeing in the night though!

All my kids end up kicking off their blankets so they sleep in onesies or fleecy pyjamas.

Soft wool PJs? Might not be helping I know, but have the same issue years on with DS. He was and still is like this, so I made sure we have soft wool PJs for the colder nights so he isn't cold through the night. Last night I threw some extra covers on him. This morning he was happily snuggled with one of them and the rest including duvet was at his feet. Example

Same as above, warmer p'j's and socks.

Maybe you could try sleeping bags with feet, like these?
